This giant pizza at Oscar’s Brasserie (within the Toronto Workers Club) is not currently an official challenge. However they intend to make it one, either for a solo effort or a 2 person duo. It is 30 inches in diameter (76cm).

It burst onto social media: the above picture had 500 comments within 8 hours of the club posting it on Facebook!

This approx. 5kg pizza is 6.5 times the size of their regular pizzas. It has 3 fixed flavours – vegetarian, margherita, and something else apparently. So it’s at least 2/3 vegetarian.

It was introduced December 2013 apparently.

Col the Conqueror’s  comments: Good luck on any solo effort – I only know of one instance of an Aussie solo challenge allegedly of this size being defeated! And the winner took 2 hours in that case… Even for a two-person team, it’s certainly doable, but you’d have to hand-pick a very strong team.

(Also 1kg T-bone on the menu too)
